Looking for a home
Hi!
I'm looking for a place to call home for myself and my children. My ideal would be my own 2+ bedroom apartment or house in the South Berkeley / North Oakland area, but I'd be willing to consider a different nearby East Bay location or a share house if it seemed like the right situation.
I'm a 40 year old software engineer working for Mozilla, the biggest little non-profit in the Bay Area tech world. I'm quiet, respectful, and I pay my bills on time. I mostly work regular 9-6ish office hours, sometimes at the Mozilla office in San Francisco, and sometimes at home.
Outside of work hours, about half of the time I'll be in the house alone, but the other half of the time I'll have my kids: one 15 year old girl, one 4 year old girl, and one nearly 2 year old boy. They're lots of fun to have around, very cute, sweet, and affectionate. But they're my kids, of course I'm going to think so. If you're the sort who likes kids, though, I'm pretty confident you'd say the same after spending some time with them. If you're the sort who doesn't like kids, well, you might end up with a different opinion. ;)
I'd ideally like to pay $1800 or under, but I might be able to go a bit higher for the right place. If you or anyone you know has a place that might work out for me, please send me an email.
